Luke Smith is an Artist, Producer, Writer and Musician, with a distinct musical style. You can find Luke’s production, writing and playing skills on albums such as the critically acclaimed, “Amy Winehouse – Frank”, “BB King – 80” and “Andrew Lloyd Webber – Unmasked Feat Gregory Porter” to name a few.

Luke also worked with the late George Michael. He started working with George in 2003, where he was headhunted to record on George’s Patience Album. Since then he has recorded three more albums with George Michael – Symphonica, Twenty Five Live in London.

More recently as Luke lay in a hospital bed fighting for his life from Covid-19, he promised himself that if he makes it, he will immediately release his long-awaited debut single “Travelling”. In his own words, “I didn’t want my legacy to be that I died with some great music on my hard drive!”

“Travelling” is an up-tempo jazz-funk affair featuring British jazz guitar legend, Tony Remy. The track, reminiscent of the 80’s jazz-funk period, see’s Luke Smith displaying his skills on both piano and hammond organ.

His next single is the title track of his debut album called “It’s Time” and features Jazz Funk legend Roy Ayers. It also has some of London’s finest musicians playing notably world renowned bass player Pino Palladino (The Who, John Mayer, D’Angelo).

During lockdown Luke was booked to play a lockdown session at the famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. He had the highest livestreamed video of the month at over a staggering 600 live viewers.

It was obvious to Ronnie’s that Luke is a star, as a result, they booked him again in less than 3 months to do his second live show, this time with an audience. Luke sold out the 2 shows in record time.

Luke was booked a 3rd time just before the end of the year where again, he sold out another 2 shows. There was so much demand that Ronnie Scott’s decided to stream the gig live for fans that couldn’t get tickets.

These are just a few examples of Luke Smith’s impressive body of work. His contributions to the music industry have not only garnered critical acclaim but have also left a lasting impact on listeners worldwide.
